Belalang. Walang Wadung? In my village, Ambarawa, Central Java-Indonesia, people call this animal with "Walang Wadung". But, I'm not so sure whether its English name is Locust or Grasshopper.
When I checked it in Wikipedia.org, I found that the picture of Locust or Grasshopper is not the same with Walang Wadung.
I took this picture in early 2010 in a garden near my house when we were cleaning our garden. These species can easily live in our area.
I love this picture. I took this picture in a close range. It's about 10 inches only. Do you love it, too?
